Thrust 1 & 2 use Google Place API to gather place-based information about food-related businesses in each study area.

 Google Place data is supplemented with King County food business inspection data.

The City of Seattle’s open data platform provides more spatial data such as land use and street types.

The City of Tempe’s GIS data is also used to gather spatial data on our Tempe study area.
